Maddox returns to the original format of taking a magic wish and coming up with a balanced ironic cost, but also adds the new Best Wishes format where guests will debate which of two similar wishes is better and try to convince the audience to vote with them.

The show has two parts.
In the first part, eight improvisers will perform scripted character monologues. They might be from plays, movies, TV, or famous speeches. Whatever they are, they will let you meet and get a feel for the character.
In second part, the audience will decide which characters from the first round they'd like to see perform improvised scenes together. Maybe that kooky character will share the stage with that historical figure. Maybe that classical play character will have to deal with a modern celebrity as a roommate. Any pairing can happen as long as the audience is convinced they'd be the Perfect Match.

One of each of those to start with more to come. They might be a crab bag of formats and tone, but if you want an enjoyable read, you have a place to find my work that might apply.
Break A Wish is about how magic can shake up a persons normal every day life. Since no one is living their normal life right now, the normal format feels weird to record to say the least. So we will be switching over to doing episodes about films that have a wish being granted at their core. It’ll be different. It’ll be fun. I hope you’ll keep listening.
